DELIVERY DASH: Pizza, Parkour and Part-time employment
Arcade action meets classic platforming in BitBot Games’ debut title!
So, enough keeping you all on your toes. What is Delivery Dash, Why is Delivery Dash, and Where is Delivery Dash?
What is Delivery Dash?
Delivery Dash combines classic 3D platforming inspired by Mario 64, Pac Man World and the Sonic Adventure titles with the fast-paced arcade action of Crazy Taxi. You play as Edwin the pizza delivery cat, dodging obstacles and racing against the clock to deliver as many pizzas as you can before the time runs out!
Delivery Dash has been in active development for about 5 months, developed from a small prototype I had made in my spare time. Development really ramped up at the beginning of 2026, and now the game has 3 open levels and is almost ready to demo!
Here we see Edwin traversing rooftops, on his way to deliver a delicious pizza to another satisfied customer.
Edwin’s tearin’ up one of the many grind rails we’ve had installed to optimise our delivery routes!
Wait, you’re telling me we’re delivering pizzas to the INSIDE of an ACTIVE VOLCANO? Are we insured for that!?
Why is Delivery Dash?
Delivery Dash was in idea I had on the backburner while I was studying my bachelor’s. But before I get into where it came from, we have to talk about “Emergent Gameplay”.
Emergent gameplay is a phenomenon in which players take the game’s mechanics and use them in novel or unexpected ways. Think Wavedashing in Super Smash Brothers or rocket jumping in Quake.
Delivery Dash’s premise was inspired by a piece of emergent gameplay I had heard about: in Super Mario 64, when players ran out of stars to collect, they resorted to making their own fun. They would pick up a crate on the first level, pretending said crate was a pizza, and “deliver” it to the end of the level. While I can’t find a reference to this piece of emergent gameplay online I vividly remember hearing about it and it stuck with me. So much so that I thought it could be its’ own game!
Where is Delivery Dash?
I’m planning to release Delivery Dash on itch.io and Steam, keep your eyes on my socials!
Furthermore, I’m setting up a Patreon page! Patreon members will get goodies like a monthly newsletter and behind-the-scenes peeks at what’s in store. Higher tiers will even get early access to demo builds! I have further plans for ways you can support the development of Delivery Dash and future projects!
